Mr. Halverson served as the President of Barrick (Australia Pacific) Limited. Mr. Halverson has been President of North America Business Unit at Barrick Gold Corporation since 2011.

 Jerry Pyatt brings more than 30 years of experience in the mining and metal production industry to his role as President and CEO of The Doe Run Company. Appointed in 2012, Mr. Pyatt oversees the largest integrated lead producer in the Western Hemisphere, including six mines, four mills, a primary lead smelter, a secondary smelter and two lead fabrication sites. Mr. Pyatt leads a nine-person executive team and directs the company’s focus on sustainable mineral and metal production.

 Prior to being named CEO, Rod Schrader was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Mining Division, Komatsu America Corp. He began his career with the company in 1987 and held positions in varied areas within Komatsu. Mr. Schrader was appointed as a Komatsu America Corp. board member in July 2010.

Daniel M. Harrington is President & Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Hanson, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heidelberg Cement, one of the largest construction materials manufacturers worldwide. Mr. Harrington began his career in 1974 and has held a variety of executive management positions in the construction materials industry over the years. He currently chairs the Government Affairs Council of the Portland Cement Association (PCA)

Mac McFarland is CEO of Luminant, a competitive power generation subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corp., with activities including plant, mine, wholesale marketing and trading, and development operations. Prior to joining EFH, Mr. McFarland held leadership roles in the finance, mergers and acquisitions and marketing and trading organizations at Exelon Corporation for nearly 10 years. Mr. McFarland has held various commercial finance and engineering positions in technology and architect-engineering-construction firms.

Scott P. Lawson was elected Senior Vice President, Technical Services of Newmont Mining Corporation in December 2012. Prior to joining Newmont, Mr. Lawson also spent 22 years with international miner Rio Tinto including executive roles with Rio Tinto Alcan-Bauxite and Alumina, Rio Tinto Technology and Innovtion and Vice President Engineering and Technical Services for Kennecott Utah Copper. He began his career with Barrick Gold Corporation.
